Amy has taught 1st grade at St. Peter since 2000. She graduated in 1999 with a BS in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Iowa State University. In 2011, she completed her MA in Teaching Reading K-12 from the University of St. Thomas.  She has MN teaching license and taught one year of 5th grade at Skyview Elementary. Her hobbies include quilting, hiking, spending time outside in the summer, spending time with her family and snuggling her cats.
