International Taste of St. Peter

On February 11, 2012, O’Reilley Hall was transformed.  Under an illuminated Eiffel Tower and tables aglow with candlelight, guests of An International Taste of St. Peter arrived ~and what a time we had!  Friends, families, new acquaintances and old spilled into O’Reilley and Fellowship Halls all to support St. Peter Catholic School.  Guests of the fundraiser enjoyed food from around the world, wine and beer tastings, an outstanding musical performance by Any Day Now, card games in the Monte Carlo “Casino” room, and much JOY with an abundance of fellowship.  Our Silent and Live Auction items sold to the highest bidders, our lucky raffle chance winners were drawn, seats were sold for the Mystery Bus Tour, and donations were made for the NSP St. Peter’s Splashers.  And, yes, An International Taste of St. Peter then came to a close – and the event was a huge success!

THANK YOU to the great many who supported this event through donations, volunteering, and attending An International Taste of St. Peter.  It takes everyone to make an event like this work, and there were so many who donated their time, talent, and treasure to make this event a success, truly an evening of community and fellowship.  A special Thank You to the Knights of Columbus for their commitment to St. Peter Catholic School and, in particular, their bartending services for the evening, the generous musical donations of the fabulous band Any Day Now, and Lonnie Piche, our live auctioneer, from J&E Antiques.  And many thanks to you for your dedication and support of our students and St. Peter Catholic School.  We are filled with gratitude for your generosity and support.  And, lastly, a very special thank you to Cecilia Crowley, St. Peter’s principal, Gayle Carney, and Kim Lipman, for their amazing organizing efforts, endless energy, creative thinking, and leadership!  Together they created a memorable international getaway to be remembered for a long time to come!
