Preschool
At St. Peter Catholic Preschool, we play together in a safe, nurturing learning environment. We learn together using imagination, exploration, creativity, interaction, and expression of feelings and ideas. We pray together in a Christian environment that will help instill a love of God, self, and others. We grow together emotionally, socially, spiritually, physically, and intellectually- preparing for a lifetime love of learning!
Our program engages and challenges children to develop early learning, behavior, and social skills. Children ages three, four, and engage in a rich variety of learning experiences including: music, art, literature, play, field trips, creative expression, social, and discovery activities.
St. Peter Catholic Preschool focuses on educating students about the Catholic faith. We begin and end each day in prayer. We emphasize the importance of God in our lives and never forget that we are all truly loved by God. We grow together in our faith, knowledge, and love.
Children also learn basic skills to prepare for kindergarten, working in small and large groups as well as independently. Time is provided to work and play in center areas and to practice important skills such as name writing, cutting, gluing, sharing, etc.
St. Peter Preschool is housed in the early childhood area of the school with a spacious classroom designed to encourage learning, play, and creativity. The licensed preschool program is staffed by certified instructors who prepare, plan, and present educational activities for the children in both our three-day and two-day programs.
