Student Activities
Students at St. Peter Catholic School have the opportunity to participate in a variety of student activities. Here is a sample of some of the many student activities available:
Student Council
The Student Council at St. Peter Catholic School consists of a group of students in grades 5-8 that have been designated by their peers and their teachers as leaders in the school. The Student Council representatives work together to promote school spirit in the school, organize all-school activities and multi-grade-level activities, and most importantly facilitate programs and projects that promote service.
Student Council is dedicated to providing opportunities for the students and staff at St. Peter Catholic School to serve the school, local, and global communities. Some of our past service projects have included: food drives, adopt-a-family at Christmas time, soldiers care package drive, school supply drives, and more. For more information on Student Council, please contact the advisors: Mrs. Brigid Austin, Ms. Amanda Aamodt and Mrs. Sandy Kane.
Band and Strings
Instrumental band teachers from Hill Murray High School teach individual and group lessons at St. Peter Catholic School. Students in grades 4-8 may participate. Fees and instrument arrangements are made by parents with the band director. String classes are taught by Early Bird String Academy before school for grades 3-8. Early Bird String Academy
